Product Description

Creatine Monohydrate is a naturally occurring compound found in the human body and obtained in the diet primarily from meat and fish. Creatine is a popular supplement among active individuals because of its ability to serve as an energy reservoir, especially during intense physical exertion. During short, intense bursts of activity, the body breaks down adenosine triphosphate (ATP) into adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and phosphate for energy. Creatine helps the body convert ADP back to ATP, providing greater amounts of ATP for energy, which may increase short-term endurance and strength. Creatine can also be stored for later use by cells, creating the "energy reservoir" active individuals desire. NOW Creatine Monohydrate is 100% pure and contains no additives or preservatives.

I’ve been a certified personal trainer since 1996 and I’m well aware of all the hype surrounding supplements. Check out any bodybuilder magazine and you’ll find most of the pages are ads devoted to supplements. In my opinion, most are NOT worth the money! There are, however, a handful of products that do what they claim, are backed up by the scientific community and well worth looking in to. One of those is Creatine. If you are serious about lifting weights and making gains – creatine should be on your shopping list. And, after you do look around, you’ll find that Creatine by NOW is priced VERY nicely! Compare for yourself. Like I said in the title, NOW may not be the fanciest or most colorful product, but I have found it to be the best. Best quality, best price, best company. I also recommend their soy protein supplement, but that’s another review. Good luck!

I have used this company’s products for years now and swear by them. There are many vitamin and supplement companies out there, but NOW’s are the only ones I will purchase, specifically for their high quality. This is the best price I have seen anywhere for this product.

I bought NOW creatine a while back, the 2.2 pound tub. They shipped it quickly. I don’t see any difference between NOW’s creatine and more expensive supplements, the results have been exactly the same, leading me to believe that creatine monohydrate is creatine monohydrate. I am very happy with my purchase from NOW and will look to them first when purchasing supplements. There’s no point in spending extra money just to fund the company’s marketing budget.
