I tried traditional ovulation tests that come 7 tests in a box to be used for one week. They weren’t working. I saw these on Amazon and thought I’d give them a try. They were harder to get used to using at first, but I soon got used to them. They were much easier to read than the store brands and their instructions were much more complete. After using the tests for a couple of weeks I discovered why the store brands weren’t working–I ovulated much later than I expected to. After a few weeks of using them I got pregnant. So they worked well for me.

Also, some reviews complained about the instructions not being included with the test strips. If for some reason you don’t get the email with instructions you can easily find them by doing a google search.

I’ve had no problems with these test strips. I know many have complained that they come in “no frills” packaging – plain envelope with test strips taped together, no instructions – but I’ve found that they work for me. Instructions were emailed to me prior to me receiving the package and were easy to follow. The strips have given me a positive result every month. After a couple months of using them alone, I thought I’d use a back up test with Clear Blue to make sure they were accurate – both gave me the same results on the same days. I have long and unpredictable cycles, so I need to be able to get larger quantities of test strips. Other name brands are much more expensive at only 5-10 per box. These strips are easy to use and they seem to work for me, so I’m ok with foregoing fancy packaging and getting my instructions separately, for the economical price. I also recommend tracking your own bodily fertility signs along with any testing – I recommend “Taking Charge of your Fertility” by Weschler. You learn so much you never learned in Health class about your own body that is probably even better than test strips! Good Luck!

I found the strips very easy to use and much more economical than the store bought brands. I never got the test stripe to get darker than the control stripe, but there was a clear difference that I was able to conclude was a “positive.”

I’ve never used ovulation kits before. The instructions were emailed before they showed up in the mail. They’re easy to use, just look at them within the time alotted. Cheaper than the ones in the store.
