This scale is not only nice looking but works like a charm. I was worried that the scale would be cheaply made but I was wrong. I would recommend this product to any heavy person interested in keeping track of their weight loss.

I purchased this to replace a Weight Watchers scale which stopped working properly and could not get an adequate response from Customer Service. It is better looking (the black glass look is chic), works extremely well, and the price was right. A win!

I just got this scale to replace an older digital scale that broke, and I’m very impressed.
To weigh yourself, you step on the scale, wait about 3-4 seconds for the scale to stabilize, and look at the reading. The weight is easy to read — large numerals with a backlight. The only drawback of the backlight is that it will increase battery usage. You have a choice of units — pounds, kilograms, or stones.
The scale itself is very sleek and low profile. It’s 11.8 inches (width) x 11.7 inches. Some scales (both digital and analog) make a clunking sound as you step on, but this is totally silent.
Like most digital scales, it has to be placed on a hard surface such as tile or wood.
Some digital scales have a “fake repeatability.” That is, if you weigh yourself, and then hold a small weight and step on again, it gives exactly the same value. This scale doesn’t have this undesirable feature. If you hold a small weight, it gives an honest result.
I measured the variability of nine readings. The range (max minus min) was 0.4 pounds, and the standard deviation was 0.12 pounds. This is excellent, and much better than my previous scale.
I think that the absolute reading is very close to correct, but I haven’t had a chance yet to compare this scale to the one at my doctor’s office.
The instructions warn that the glass surface is slippery when wet. It’s not a scale you want to use after stepping out of the shower or bath.

The My Weigh Elite Series Bathroom Body Weight Scale is great. I wanted a scale that would give me my weight and not require me to punch buttons or mess with configurations. This scale is very simple and elegant: It has clean lines, is a solid sheet of silver with a large blue display that is easy to read both in daytime and at night, and when you step on it it gives you your weight. The only configuration I had to do was to change it to read in pounds and that was self-explanatory (didn’t require reading any literature). Amusing side note: The warranty slip that came with the scale said that if it were to fail it should be sent back to the manufacturer “clean and devoid of ALL food or lab matter (“especially gunpowder”).”. Clearly other people use these scales for different purposes than I do.

I really like this scale. The lighted digital screen is easy to see with large numbers. Clean and modern looking. The accuracy of this scale is terrifc. When I go to the doctor’s, my weight is always checked. As soon as I get home I step on the scale and find that it is within 1-2 lbs. from the appointment. Very impressed with that. The scale is low to the floor – making it easy to slide under a bed, dresser or one of those small shelf units in the bathroom. The weight capacity is 400 lbs. Don’t usually see that in reasonably priced scales. Shipping on this product was timely.

This is the best scale we’ve ever had. Was very inexpensive. It is stylish, and works well. You simply set kilo or pounds, place on a hard surface, and step on. If you move it (significantly) you have to reset it because it senses the surface and calculates weight based on the set. It does not sense anything under 10 lbs, and only holds the display for 10 seconds, then automatically shuts of, so you would have to get back on if you missed the weight. That might be a little confusing for some children or first time users. I have tried stepping all over the scale to see if it gives a different weight for different foot placement, but it seems to be the same everywhere. I have also picked up objects that weigh a few ounces to see if it is actually accurate …and it is! This is a hundred times better than our options at the local stores (in it’s price range).

Because of my husband’s illness, he needs to weigh himself every day to be sure he doesn’t lose too much weight in a day. After reading reviews for many of the scales, I decided on this one. I am so happy I did. It is so precise which is what we needed. It has given me the peace of mind that I did not have with my old scale which we now know was way off and the needle would bounce around never quite settling on a number. It is also a sturdy, beautiful looking scale, unlike the “clunky” one that was replaced. We are very happy with this purchase from Amazon and would recommend this scale.

This is a beautiful scale. It is sleek, does not take up much space, and seems to be quite accurate.

This scale is like a no none sense scale. It is sturdy and yet light weight. I wanted a scale that would last and I think this one will. It weights me the same if I get off and right back on. It is very thin, simple and nice looking. The back light in the window makes it really easy to read and the numbers are big enough to see well.
It doesn’t have all the features other scales have but I have gone through several that start to break down with in the first year…and no I am not that heavy.
I choose this one because I thought it would last longer because it was rated for a heavier weight and it seems like it will last a long time.
I am happy with this scale.

This scale is very reliable and accurate. It always gives me the same, consistent readings, which was a huge improvement over the Tanita Body Fat Scale I had before. There was a couple of minor annoyances I had with the scale. The first is the more important of the annoyances. The second, I consider to be a mixed blessing.
The first minor initial annoyance I had was figuring out how to remove the battery. Because most other appliances don’t really have little “teeth” or “prongs” to hold batteries in place (after all, what is the battery compartment lid/cover for?), this can get a tad tricky. You have to push the battery to the left, until the right end of the battery pops out (after you let it go, of course). From there, you can slip the battery out easily. Then, to put the battery back in, you just have to do the reverse. I wish the instructions had mentioned this, so that kind of sucked. You might have to practice a few times to really get the hang of it. But, all in all, I won’t let that detract from my rating, as it was simply a short-lived set up annoyance. Besides, now that I got the hang of it, it’s not going to be an annoyance anymore.
Second, and as some people have pointed out, you have to be very still for the scale to home in on your weight accurately. Even looking down will cause fluctuations, as that increases or changes the amount of pressure being applied to the scale. It is therefore important to keep looking straight ahead for at least a few seconds (5 or 6 seconds should definitely do the trick, but fewer seconds may do the trick as well), and then the weight should be locked in. I don’t consider this to be a total con, however, because I think it simply means that the scale is very accurate.
As for the aesthetics, this scale is super slim and gorgeous on bathroom tiles. It’s surprisingly small, too, area-wise. I would highly recommend this scale for anyone interested in getting weight measurements only, as it doesn’t have any of the more advanced functions that more expensive scales will provide. (But in the end, I realized I got too lazy to use the more advanced functions of my Tanita, when I just had to look at my weight and the mirror to gauge my progress. Besides, I’m not sure how truly reliable these body fat readings are if the scales need to have a separate athlete mode to determine body fat percentage for athletes. Body fat should be body fat, bone should be bone, muscle should be muscle, and water should be water, right?)
In conclusion, there were a couple of things that made me raise an eyebrow (right brow, to be exact), but they would together cause me to detract perhaps a tenth of a star combined. Overall, though, for the aesthetics, accuracy, and price, this scale’s a no-brainer. Five stars all the way (err, I suppose 4.9)!

I am so happy with this item that it has prompted me to write my first amazon review. I looked at scales for hours, and I decided to buy this one based off of the reviews. The first surprise was how nice this thing looks. The pictures don’t do this thing justice! It just flat out looks better in person than it does in the pictures. I was not expecting this to be so sleek! It is about as thin as a couple of magazines stacked on top of each other (maybe thinner) and it has a very attractive glass surface. The next surprise was how accurate this thing is. I get very consistent readings. Last night I decided to do a little experiment. I weighed myself 3 or 4 times in a row and got 188.0 every time. I went into the kitchen and drank a glass of water. I then immediately weighed myself again and got a reading of 188.8. Thats good enough for me! The only con I can think of is not that big of a deal: you have to be pretty still while you weigh yourself to get the scale to lock in on your weight. If you were thinking about getting this scale – I say go for it!

The scale is stylish, accurate and easy use. The slim design makes it easy to store. I’m happy and would definitely recommend the product. It met the standards of the toughest critic I know, my wife!

I bought this scale to carry out a promise I made to myself last fall to weigh and record the weight every day. My ancient beam balance scale required fiddling with the weight and guessing which quarter pound mark it fell closer to. This scale is thin and attractive. There is no perceived movement when standing on it. It quickly settles on a specific number. Unlike some digital scales, which are rigged to show the same weight for a repeat weighing, it passes the ‘drink a cup of water and reweigh’ test.
