If you just want to monitor your approx. steps each day, this is a simple solution.

This pedometer counts all the steps you take while walking at a moderate pace, during the course of one day. Pressing a button will display the number of steps you have walked so far on that day. Then at midnight it stores the total, and resets the count to zero, ready for the next day’s walking. Pressing the button repeatedly will show how many steps you walked on each of the previous seven days. Setup is easy — you only have to set the time of day. The instructions are confused on one point: when they say “The unit must be positioned horizontally . . .” they really mean vertically, the position it automatically assumes when clipped to your belt.

I see this item listed five times here, but this one is the only one that ships from and is sold by Amazon.com, and qualifies for Super Saver shipping.

I am very pleased with this product. It is just the right size. Easy to read and retains step record for more than one day. It is just what I wanted.

I’ve been walking for years and always on the lookout for a good pedometer. Most of them are either too complicated, too cheap or won’t stay on my waist band. This one gets 5 stars from me in all areas, plus the numbers are large and easy to see. Though a bit more expensive, it’s the perfect pedometer for people who just want to count steps!

I love this pedometer, it has helped me walk a minimum of 10,000 steps a day and it also counts when I am on the stationary recombant bike. If I have not walked at least 5000 steps a day this pushes me to take a walk around the block or walk to the printer etc.

Unfortunately even though I bought safety straps galore, I was walking one day and did not put it on. Unfortunately I droped it down a hill. I am going to check to see if it still works. So far not :(

My advice, buy the safety strap and use it.

I have tried numerous pedometers, both cheap and not cheap, and they all really seemed to stink. This one is very nice. I was only looking for a counter but this also keeps a week to look back on as well as the time. Nice features. Besides it actually working, the feature I like most is its shape. It is not awkward. It is also small and slim enough to turn the face in towards my body an clip to the inside of my pocket for extra safe keeping while still being comfortable. I don’t even know it’s there. Great buy!

This pedometer is great – works well and has a nice feature of keeping time and the last 7 days. I am going to get some for my parents too.

I’ve purchased several pedometers to track my daily steps, and this one is by far the easiest to use. You just take is out of the box, set the current time and it’s ready to go! I love the fact that it resets at midnight to zero so that you are ready for the next day, and also saves your data for the last 7 days so that you can track your progress. This one is a keeper and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends.

This product is outstanding. It is extremely easy to program as compared to other makes. It is easy to use, easy to wear, and is very versatile. Having your 7 most recent days available with the click of a button is convenient. I used a similar pedometer at a local store, and it was far below the quality of the Omron.

My mother who is 81 years old and not to up on gadgets loves this and wears it every day, she tries to walk a little further every day. It is so easy for her to use without calling me to fix it all the time. I have one also and wouldn’t leave home with out it.

I took this product out of the package, put it on and it works perfectly. If you want simplicity, this is your best bet. I’ve lost weight wearing this.

All I wanted was an accurate step counter – and I wasted alot of money until I found this one. It is the greatest. Too many bells and whistles on the fancy ones and the cheap ones count a step when you blink. This one is very accurate and works like a charm. Recommend a “leash” to go with it, tho.

Pros – very durable, has 7 day memory, very easy to use, cute (matches everything), has a clock, and very accurate.

Cons – Some of the fitness participants have dropped their pedometers several times but they all have kept working, except for one. Other than that, no other cons to list.

Our entire department at work purchased this pedometer based on the reviews it had receive on Amazon. They all love their pedometer. Some had used different brand pedometers before and say that this pedometer outshines the others. Everyone is absolutely happy with their purchase.

I bought three of these for my kids after attending a brain health seminar. It has motivated them to be more active. In the first week I could not get them to stop moving until they had 10,000 steps recorded. I purchased the safety cord with them and would highly recommend spending the $1.25 as insurance. So far, they have been reliable, accurate, well built, and a good value. If you want a slightly better model with more features, go with the Omron 112 which I bought for myself. Although it is slightly larger, you save the $1.25 because it comes with a safety cord and is an even better value for the difference of $6.
